There is only one type of foot spacing of 2.54mm for this product, which can be divided into direct insertion and surface mount. However, direct insertion is widely used, while surface mount is rare in the market. Tested for use on the exterior of instruments and requires frequent debugging. IC Top Pull Series (VE Series, VP Series):

Compared to the red and blue ones, this IC type has a top mounted plug-in patch. The main difference is that the body is small, the foot spacing is still the same 2.54mm, and the shape is the same as the IC. Mainly used inside the machine, not exposed to the outside. Also, this product usually uses black as the color, and the material used is better than red and blue. It is convenient for soldering and will not cause the switch to break easily when using wave soldering or reflow soldering due to high temperature. This product is mainly used in high-end instruments and equipment, and its cost is relatively higher than that of red and blue. However, current manufacturers use automated equipment for production, so the price on the market is comparable to that of red and blue. The specific dimensions are shown in the figure: VEM series is the direct insertion series, and VED series is the surface mount series.

IC type side shift series (PVED series, PVEM series):

This IC type is also compared to the VP series. The main difference is that the body is relatively small, with the same foot spacing of 2.54mm and the same shape as the IC. Mainly used inside the machine, not exposed to the outside. Also, this product usually uses black as the color, but red is also available. The material used is better than VP/VS, making it convenient for soldering. When using wave soldering or reflow soldering, the switch will not easily break due to high temperature.
